Frequently asked questions

The CoinSpot Mastercard is a prepaid debit card. This means that your prepaid card needs to be topped up. In this case, you can top up using only cryptocurrencies listed on the CoinSpot platform.
CoinSpot makes it simple to spend your cryptocurrency, with no annual fees or lock-in periods. Just log into your CoinSpot Account, activate your CoinSpot Mastercard, and select the crypto wallets you wish to link to your CoinSpot Mastercard. You can pick up to five wallets to link to your card. Once done, all purchases made with your CoinSpot Mastercard will come from your selected wallets in the order you have selected them. If your number one wallet is empty or has an insufficient balance, the funds will then be taken from your second wallet and so on. The CoinSpot Mastercard enables an instant real-time conversion of cryptocurrency to Australian currency ($) when you make your transaction.
To be eligible for your CoinSpot Mastercard you will need to have a fully verified CoinSpot account and have 2FA enabled. If you are unsure how to fully verify your account you can visit our help article here, and if you have never used 2FA before you can find helpful information here.
The CoinSpot Mastercard can be used with both Google Pay and Apple Pay. Simply activate your CoinSpot Mastercard, link it with either of the above accounts and you are ready to spend your crypto. Once you have linked the card you are able to use it anywhere you see the paypass logo.
If you make a purchase with the CoinSpot Mastercard and the payment is refunded for any reason, the AUD value of the purchase will be returned to your CoinSpot account. The coins that were spent in the purchase will not be refunded to your CoinSpot account.
