What is TrueFi?

TrueFi (TRU) is a Decentralised Finance (DeFi) protocol that seeks to provide users with the ability to earn high yields on stablecoin loans and borrow capital without collateral.

  • Lenders can add TrueUSD (TUSD) into a TrueFi pool to be used for lending, earning interest & farming TRU. Capital that is not borrowed is sent into the Curve protocol to maximise earnings.
  • Borrowers such as OTC desks, exchanges and other protocols submit proposals to borrow capital from the pool - including amount want to borrow, the % APY they are offering, the term length and their Ethereum address.
  • TRU stakers vote on borrowing proposals, each vote exposes participating TRU holders to upside or downside based on loan prepayment. This incentives TRU stakers to vote carefully.
