What is Multibit?

Multibit (MUBI) is a bridging protocol designed for cross-network transfers between Bitcoin (BRC-20) and Ethereum (ERC-20). Multibit’s goal is to create increased interoperability, liquidity and accessibility for BRC and ERC tokens. MUBI is the native utility token of the Multibit ecosystem.

  • With the aim to offer a secure and efficient bridge between the ETH, BNB, and BTC networks, Multibit promotes the growth and development of the Bitcoin ecosystem by making it more interoperable.
  • Multibit bridges BRC20 tokens to the Ethereum ecosystem, aiming to allow for seamless functionality with Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) blockchains and enhanced security as well as scalability.
  • MUBI is the utility token that is used within the ecosystem for governance rights and allows for participation within the decision making process. It is also used for staking rewards, rewarding liquidity providers and node operators to maintain the Multibit blockchain.
