What is Stafi?

StaFi (FIS) is a DeFi protocol that unlocks liquidity of staked assets.

  • Users can stake Proof of Stake (PoS) tokens through StaFi and receive rTokens in return, which are available for trading while still earning staking rewards.
  • When tokens are staked through the protocol, the user receives an equal amount of rToken in return. For example, rDOT represents staked Polkadot. rTokens can be redeemed for the corresponding amount of staked tokens at any time.
  • rBridge enables users to access Decentralised Finance (DeFi) ecosystems on other blockchains such as Ethereum, Polkadot and Cosmos.

Through its technology framework, Stafi seeks to address the conflict between the mainnet security and token liquidity in the PoS blockchain model.
