What is Flux?

Flux (FLUX) is the native utility coin of the Flux Ecosystem, created to provide incentives for hardware hosts on the Flux network, to be easily mined, and used as DAO governance of the Flux Ecosystem.

  • The Flux ecosystem aims to provide infrastructure that is Web 3 compatible and scalable. The goal is to allow hosts and developers to easily use their cloud infrastructure while providing incentives using the Flux token.
  • A main aim of Flux is to make the network available to all. Nodes on the Flux network can be run on personal computers, servers and VPS hardware and owners of these nodes are awarded with FLUX.
  • An important aspect of FLUX is its open-source nature. With a community-driven and independent team, the Flux team's goal is to create a truly decentralised future based around Web 3 and open source cloud computing.

The Flux team aims to reach its goals of true decentralisation by providing a highly incentivised ecosystem which provides hardware hosts, GPU miners and node operators Flux tokens as a reward for maintaining the ecosystem.
