MetisDAO (METIS) is a layer-2 scaling solution built for Ethereum using optimistic rollup technology. This means that Metis can support smart contract development, decentralised applications (DApps), and more scalable transaction processing.

  • Optimistic rollups are designed to increase Ethereum’s throughput by reducing computation demand on the main Ethereum blockchain, processing transactions off-chain, resulting in faster processing speeds.
